You will be part of a high-powered team focused on entrepreneurship, a team that designs vertical solutions to accelerate the adoption of telematics in order to improve productivity, security and compliance while also reducing costs and environmental impacts.
We are looking for a rare gem who is passionate about and motivated by their field and can help us drive FOCUS by TELUS to new heights. In this role, you will be part of the internal support team responsible for helping to resolve technical incidents generated by other teams within the company. You will have opportunities to contribute in concrete ways to improving our fleet management solution and tools. You will propose and implement solutions to problems that have a direct impact on the team, our partners and our customers.
Responsibilities
- Track numerous incidents generated simultaneously by other departments
- Analyze new incidents and assess their severity and impact on all our customers
- Respond to incidents that can be resolved quickly
- Delegate incidents that require too much time or too specialized knowledge
- Inform the department manager of incidents that require their attention
- Participate in daily meetings with the customer support and technical service teams
- Participate in internal testing of new functionalities
- Proactively search for defects in products
- Develop internal tools to automate the most frequent support tasks
Qualifications
Required skills
- Ability to work independently, highly organized, a driven approach, passion for what you do, creativity and innovation
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills in French and English (spoken and written)
- Team player attitude and ability to collaborate and communicate effectively
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks
Required experience
- Good software development skills (3 years experience)
- Good knowledge of SQL, or even better MySQL, and its specific features
- Proficiency in the JavaScript/TypeScript programming language
- College attestation or diploma (AEC/DEC) in computer science or undergraduate degree in computer science
