The Administrative Coordinator is a key part of the team as they are responsible for a variety of duties that keep the clinic running smoothly and efficiently.
Here’s how
Duties & responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Work collaboratively and effectively with all team members to provide a welcoming and client focused environment
- Greeting clients and ensure they are taken care of when they enter the clinic
- Check in clients upon arrival to the clinic to update their demographics and start their clinic visist
- Book appointments as required in clinic (non-occ/occ visits, medicals, audiograms, spirometry, respirator fit testing, etc)
- Sending employer notifications and fitness certificates
- Complete data entry
- Build, organize, upload and audit client files
- Answering phones
- Travel clearances
- Arranging travel to site for TELUS Health/InnuMed Inc staff and physicians
- Assisting with various office duties including filing and photocopying
- Support clinic as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
You're the missing piece of the puzzle
- 2-3 years of progressively responsible administrative experience, preferably in the medical field
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to stay organized, take initiative and prioritize workload
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and interpretive skills
- Ability to work independently but also as an active member of our team
- Able to handle a wide variety of projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
