To help us take our products and services to the next level, we’re looking for a passionate and driven quality assurance developer ready to start or continue a rewarding career. You’ll work within our Software team and be actively involved in all aspects of the development life cycle, including concept generation, design, implementation, and acceptance. Our full stack approach to teamwork ensures you will have the opportunity to explore many diverse elements.


Here's how


A day in the life will include many of these critical actions:


  • You will review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely feedback
  • You will develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • You will prioritize and plan testing activities
  • You will play the role of test engineer: Design, develop, and execute automated tests
  • You will identify and report issues found, then verify that issues are resolved
  • You will perform regression testing




You're the missing piece of the puzzle


You are likely in a similar software quality assurance role, today, with many of the experienced points and skills, below:


  • You have a knack for learning new technologies quickly across a wide variety of technical areas
  • You have hands-on experience with automated testing tools
  • You have strong technical writing skills and have experience creating test plans.
  • You have strong attention to detail and a desire to probe further into issues/data
  • You have proven work experience in software quality assurance
  • You should be able to see things from the point of view of all the different types of stakeholders and be able to understand what they are trying to accomplish



We are especially excited to connect with people who have experience with any of the following:


  • An understanding of the fundamentals of a vehicle electrical system, including OBD-II and/or J1939 communication protocols
  • AVL, fleet telematics, or IoT
  • AWS SaaS deployments
  • Java, Vert.x, GWT, MongoDB, MySQL
  • Eclipse, Git, Jira, Confluence

Please note that while many of our team members are co-located in St. John's, NL and Oakville, ON, we can equip new team members to be hybrid or remote from most major centres across Canada.
