Description

Join our team and what we'll accomplish together

Be part of a passionate team where your voice actually matters, your autonomy is trusted, and the focus is on driving real, meaningful transformations. Our Smart Security Alarm Monitoring Operations unit protects lives and property across Canada, 24/7, delivering operational excellence across all lines of business. We bring together the rock-solid stability of a national monitoring operation with the agility of a strategic problem-solving hub, where fresh ideas are valued and learning is constant.  As a core enablement center, our team oversees frontline training, change management, system reliability, and large-scale operational transformations. We are the engineering engine that assists cross-functional units through complex system and customer migrations, as well as transformative tool deployments, ensuring our critical security mandate remains flawless.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be a driving force behind our most critical evolution programs, bridging the gap between frontline operations, technical development, and our Business Unit leadership team. You will step into a high-autonomy environment where you are trusted to own complex problems, smash corporate silos, and create absolute clarity out of ambiguity.

Together, we will migrate massive customer bases onto next-generation tracking platforms, architect future-ready workflows that eliminate operational bottlenecks, and champion a collaborative culture where we actively mentor and uplift the next generation of analysis talent.

What you’ll do

  • Designing future-ready solutions: Analyze complex current-state workflows to eliminate operational bottlenecks, and architect robust requirements, user stories, process improvements, and specifications for seamless transformations.
  • Empowering leadership decisions through data-driven insights and compelling storytelling: Translate complex data, ROI analyses, and transformation strategies into clear dashboards and high-impact presentations.
  • Championing collaboration and alignment. You manage expectations, defuse stakeholder escalations, and ensure that project milestones, big wins, and hard-earned learnings are shared and celebrated across our national team.
  • Uplifting the BA practice through collaborative mentorship. You partner directly with the Team Manager to coach, train, and peer-review a small team of analysts, actively building a culture where everyone gets better together.
  • Supporting strategic operational initiatives. You take full ownership of low-to-medium scale projects, measuring your success by real-world outcomes, stakeholder smiles, and tangible business impact.
  • Providing operational resilience. You step up to support occasional after-hours business emergencies via on-call requirements, protecting our critical 24/7 monitoring promise to the families and businesses that rely on us.

Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.

Qualifications

What you bring

  • Cross-functional leadership: You effortlessly unite diverse teams and perspectives to deliver cohesive, high-impact outcomes.
  • Collaborative mentorship: You actively uplift the team, coaching and supporting junior analysts and running peer reviews to help everyone grow.
  • Fearless communication: You smash silos, confidently reaching out across any department to pull in stakeholders and get the info you need.
  • Requirement architecture: You are an expert at translating big-picture strategies into actionable backlogs and clean specifications.
  • Core Business Analysis Experience: You bring 5 to 10 years of professional experience, with a proven track record of delivering end-to-end business analysis for operational improvement.
  • Data-driven strategy. You look beyond the raw numbers, connecting fragmented data points to build solid business cases and prove the real-world value of a launch.
  • Comfort with ambiguity: You are a natural problem-solver who easily creates clarity, structure, and momentum in fast-evolving environments.
  • Pragmatic AI & meaningful innovation: You bring a forward-thinking approach to modern tools, possessing the curiosity and judgment to leverage AI where it genuinely speeds up analysis or uncovers real business value.
