As a national enterprise account manager with a business development/acquisition focus on national enterprise customers, you will offer innovative integrated security solutions across Canada. You will have access to the latest technology and industry trends in order to ensure our customers have secure facilities for their employees, customers, and assets.


This is a challenging hunter sales role, focused on generating new growth in national enterprise markets and hunting new logos to sell TELUS business solutions. The challenge is significant and so is the reward. You will be joining a team of game changers motivated by offering excellent service and effectively positioning TELUS as a leader in National Enterprise security solutions.


Here's how you and the team will drive success


In this primarily hunting role, you'll own the building of your book of business, by:


  • Growing your base of customers through old-school and future state hunting and business development activities
  • Prospecting, building, and developing relationships to maintain an active deal pipeline and ideal quota coverage in your territory
  • Managing complex deal cycles, from lead origination to stakeholder mapping and management, through to negotiation, closes, and expansions
  • Consistently closing net-new business and expansions by leveraging a “land-and-expand” strategy
  • Successfully collaborating with customers, partners, and peers in a consultative sales process where you will identify value and ROI to support customer’s needs
  • Making repeatable, accurate forecasts and commits, reflective of real-time Salesforce activity

You are likely in a similar hunting sales position today and have many of the experience points and attributes below:


  • Security industry experience (proficiency in access control, intrusion detection, CCTV products and concepts
  • Contribute to the team’s success through collaboration and team spirit
  • Participate in promotional events and develop and maintain business by liaising with various stakeholders
  • Cross-functional team experience ensuring seamless flow of the project
  • Increased sales from existing accounts and developed new relationships inside of them
  • Consistently achieved or overachieved your sales quota
  • Originated and navigated complex, direct sales cycles with multiple technical and business stakeholders
  • Sold net-new business and expansion opportunities to C-level buyers in medium and large accounts
  • Managed consultative sales processes, with value-based impacts or outcomes
