Overview

 

TELUS has expanded its technology offerings for its digital transformation solutions significantly. We have grouped these solutions into categories such as Smart Cities, Connected Worker, Global Connectivity, and others. We are building a team of hunters to work alongside the existing Technology Specialists to speak with prospects and book discovery meetings. You will be a highly valued member of our team, and you will have a career path where the goal in 12+ months would be promoted to a Technology Specialist if you wish. 

 

You will be given truly elite cold and warm call phone training that is proven to have success in 50% of your dials! You will also have subject matter experts to help train and support you in the technology community.

 

This role has an ambitious pace, and it will be demanding. But with great expectations and performance, will come great rewards. 


Here’s how YOU will be successful: 

 

You will book discovery meetings for our seasoned technology executives. It’s that simple. No politics or policy to get in your way. 

  • You will receive the best phone training for making outbound calls on the planet 
  • You will spend 7 hours a day cold and warm calling into CxO levels and business unit owners directly and booking meetings in the large commercial, enterprise, and public sector space 
  • You will spend 1 hour a day becoming a Subject Matter Expert in our industry
  • You will build incredible skills that will be the foundation of your selling and rapport building for your entire career 
  • You will have salesforce.com and LinkedIn Navigator as tools 
  • You will be Hungry with high morale EVERY day 
  • You will work from home or in an office – your choice
  • You will exceed KPI objectives
  • You will make your own work hours as you may be calling internationally across North America and Europe at times 
  • You will have a terrific leader that supports you
  • You WILL NOT do quotes or general inside sales rep duties

Qualifications

You are likely in a similar role today, with some or a lot of business development experience. You have knowledge of or experience with some of the items below: 

  • A Passion and Competitive spirit! 
  • A desire to hit the phones every day, all day 
  • A track record in business development is preferred 
  • SFDC utilization knowledge is an asset 
  • Excellent relationship building skills are essential 
  • Multi-language is an asset
