The Personalization Products team’s vision is that every interaction a customer has with TELUS should be personalized to what they need at the moment, whether the customer is coming to us through the app or website or whether we are going outbound to a customer with a message sent by email, SMS, or app notification.
Our team is responsible for analytics implementation across our digital assets at TELUS. Our team has created the global data standards that we used to collect customer interaction data across TELUS and Koodo. We are looking for an Analytics Implementation Specialist for our team. In this role you will develop technical specifications adhering to Global Standards for analytics implementation, while offering guidance and best practices to cross-functional teams. You will also be responsible to conduct quality assurance and monitor analytics to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of implemented solutions. Lastly, you will manage data by creating new variables and mapping them in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) supporting comprehensive analytics capabilities.
What you'll do
- Support the development and training of internal processes and documentation governing all aspects of analytics tagging, implementation, QA and reporting, including continuous improvement of these processes
- Ensuring that data flows smoothly from the website & app into our Analytics report suites, tools, and marketing platforms based on agreed upon tech specs
- Responsible for best practices when QA-ing data collection through Adobe Analytics and marTech platforms
- Conduct regular audits of digital insights implementation identifying recommendations to improve data structure and reporting
- Work collaboratively with squads to ensure they understand valuable data available to them which drives insights in reporting.
- Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and in an actionable manner, articulating next steps and recommendations to team members and various audiences.
- Build a understanding of the Adobe Suite of tools used (Adobe Analytics, Launch, Target, Customer Journey Analytics, Adobe Campaign, Experience Platform) and their integration requirements
- Demonstrate knowledge on utilizing the Adobe Experience Cloud ID
- Understanding of Adobe Experience Platform audience triggers and platform activation
- Ability to configure Adobe Analytics report suite, non-report suite, and variable settings according to standards
- Proficient in HTML, JavaScript, React and other JavaScript libraries, Analytics Debugging Tools, Any Analytics Web Application
What you bring
- University degree in Computer Science (preferred) or any technical field
- At least 5 years of experience in implementing analytics on high traffic websites
- Understanding of database structures, tables & basic SQL statements
- Web development experience including knowledge of JavaScript (or any of its flavors)
- Ability to work independently as well as a contributing member of the team
- Passionate about analytics!
Great-to-haves
- Experience with agile, iterative, lean product life cycles
- Over 5 years of experience in implementing and using Adobe Launch or DTM to ingest data into Adobe Analytics
- Experience with other Adobe products such as Adobe experience platform, Adobe Target, Customer Journey Analytics, Audience Manager, Campaign Classic
