TELUS Health is looking for a full-time Assistant Fitness & Wellness Consultant to join an amazing multi-disciplinary team in downtown Toronto.

Under the direction of the Fitness & Wellness Coordinator, the Assistant Fitness & Wellness Consultant will be responsible for teaching a variety of group exercise classes, monitoring the fitness studios and wellbeing spaces, and promoting health and wellness to the client employees.
What you’ll do:
- Assist in the supervision of a corporate fitness and wellness facility
- Assist in the coordination of health promotion events and wellness programming (challenges, events)
- Instruct and assist in the scheduling of fitness classes and monitor participation
- Monitor studio use to provide guidance and ensure safety of studio members
- Report of monthly and/or quarterly usage stats
- Delivery of health and wellness related webinars
- Contribute to promotional postings and monthly newsletters
- Facilitate the completion of GAQ screening forms and waivers for new members and annually
Qualifications
What you bring:
- Degree or diploma in Kinesiology, Fitness or Health promotion
- Current certifications in group fitness, personal training and CPR/First Aid/AED
- Energetic, confident, reliable, positive, engaging with a passion for fitness and health
- Works well as part of a team
- High degree of self motivation and initiative
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and customer service skills
- Strong computer skills with ability to adapt to and learn various software applications
- Experience in the corporate fitness & wellness field an asset
