Description

Join our team

At TELUS, we’re looking for bright people that like solving big problems. And as part of the People & Culture team, you tackle all kinds. We are not your standard (traditional) HR. We embrace discomfort and we have fun doing it. We’re just as passionate about our team as we are about our customers and we’re looking for people that radiate this passion.

Here’s what we believe:

  • We break down silos - by bringing together multiple business units for great outcomes

  • We challenge the status quo – and when others think we’re done, we make it better

  • We live up to our commitments – to ourselves, our friends, family, peers, leaders and our customers

  • Our success is all about how we do things – how we think, solve problems, deliver, communicate, and more

Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together

You will be redefining customer experience for both our stakeholders and internal team. You will do this by transforming our team members' experience with recommendations on innovative solutions and efficient processes. You will also be responsible for driving change through the identification and quantification of continuous improvement opportunities in order to transform the organizational norm, delivery of business results and drive sustainability. You will have the satisfaction of improving our team's results and experience.

Your counsel is equal parts logic, analysis and strategy. You have a natural curiosity and appreciate continuous improvement, while harvesting learnings to enhance our business and team.

Here's how

  • Document business requirements and perform User Acceptance Testing for incentive tool releases and projects

  • Produce monthly and adhoc analytical reports to different levels of management

  • Modelling data and providing recommendations for incentive plan

  • Plan configuration within the incentive tools

  • Support data integrity analysis and auto-load of data feeds

  • Support monthly incentive processing and audits

  • Recommend process improvements to reduce re-work

  • Collaborate with our Business Transformations partners in an agile setting

  • Understanding of our customers' sales incentive plans

  • Ability to work well in a project focused team environment

  • Ability to manage risk and make win-win decisions

Qualifications

You're the missing piece of the puzzle

  • Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Computer Science or equivalent education level and experience

  • Advanced knowledge of GCP, Python, Postgres or other database programs

  • Demonstrated experience in code configurations

  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial concepts

  • Demonstrated experience in reporting and data management (including experience with web-based reporting)

  • Understanding of TELUS' marketing, sales, and the provisioning processes would be an asset

  • Knowledge of TELUS' billing systems would be an asset

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Superior written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize by multi-tasking in a rapidly changing environment to meet business requirements

Great-to-haves

  • Bilingual - French & English is considered an asset

  • Experience with BI platforms or Data Studio reports

  • Agile Project Management designations or experience is an asset

  • Experience with reporting and data management from TELUS contract and/or billing systems

Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.

Salary Range:  $57,000-$105,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  10%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. We encourage all qualified candidates to apply, even if the posted salary range doesn't match your expectations. We're open to discussing competitive compensation packages tailored to your experience level and expertise. TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:

  • Comprehensive total rewards package highlighting competitive salary and bonus structures, minimum 3 weeks of vacation, and flexible benefits plan to meet the needs of you and your family
  • Flexibility to work in-office, virtually or a combination of both
