We collaborate with senior leaders across the Customer Technology Excellence team to identify the future skills needed and develop strategies to ensure our program graduates are well positioned to meet the needs of our business and customers.

As a Recruitment and Branding Program Specialist on the Strategy, Enablement & Investment Management team, you will become part of a high performing team that partners with technology leaders to support the evolution of our early career programs including the Graduate Technology Leadership Program (GTLP) and the Engineering and Technology Co-op Programs. This exciting role will allow you to be part of a strategic talent development team that supports the career journeys of engineering and technology students and graduates. On this team, you will be both a brand ambassador for TELUS and our early career programs and will lead our recruitment, branding and program management strategy.
Here’s how
- Lead, manage and execute on recruitment, external branding and social media strategies
- Utilize data and analytics to recommend and implement ongoing process improvements
- Support program management for GTLP, co-op and other targeted talent programs
- Enhance competitive advantage through benchmarking, research, measurement and reporting of key program KPI’s
- Collaborate with the leadership team to evolve the resource planning process
- Leverage your creativity to expand and evolve the GTLP program and identify unique ways to build an industry leading program

You’re the missing piece of the puzzle
- A Diploma, Bachelor or Masters’ Degree in Human Resources, Marketing / Communications, Business or Technology-related field
- Passionate about best-in-class attraction, branding and recruitment strategies
- Proven ability to develop and execute new strategies and people related projects
- Respected as a collaborative, high performing partner with exceptional communication, presentation and influencing skills who can effectively build relationships across all levels of the organization
- Appreciated for your ability to excel and deliver desired outcomes in a robust, fast-paced environment
- Regarded as a strategic thinker with strong business acumen who applies and seeks out best practices, drives process improvements, and is willing to experiment
- Experience working in a technology focused environment with an understanding of the roles and skills required to support technology teams would be an asset
