This role will report to the Manager of Market Intelligence, Wireline and Sales BI Data team.

  • You will build foundational data assets enabling product and customer marketing teams 
  • You will drive cross segment sales channels’ performance through valuable insights 
  • You will mentor other team member on various levels: processes, technical, and interpersonal skills

  • You will develop new analytical solutions to provide timely insights to the business
  • You will work on TELUS acquisitions’ systems and data 
  • You will collaborate with cross functional teams: Product Marketing, Customer Base Management team,  IT and other BI teams to develop foundational data assets that will drive sales’ performance, measurement, and finally compensation
  • You will coordinate with the product management team to ensure reporting readiness for new product launches
  • You will be part of a high performing team, celebrate wins, socialize learnings and progress to our leadership team

 

 

Qualifications

 

You’re the missing piece of the puzzle

 

  • You possess a knack to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable way 
  • You have an extraordinary ability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence across multiple teams
  • You keep big picture in mind even when you are working on the details
  • You are inherently curious to understand how things work, have ability to think outside-of-the-box and work around constraints
  • You focus on continuous learning and development across multiple domains including telco industry, technology, and customer experience
  • You are an expert at Structured Query Language (SQL) skills and Oracle and / or SQL server databases with more than 7 years of hands on experience
  • You have expert level proficiency in SAS with at least 7 of hands on experience
  • You have working knowledge on Google cloud platform (GCP) and BigQuery 
  • You possess strong planning, performance and business analysis skills

 

Great to haves

 

  • Prior telecommunications or B2B marketing experience
  • University degree in Engineering or Commerce and/or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRMs

 

 

Salary Range:  $80,000-$120,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
