In this role, you wear several hats: part consultant, part coach and part driver. You will work with our sales teams across TELUS to advise business leaders on people solutions that support their business goals.
Your counsel is equal parts logic, analysis and strategy. You have a natural curiosity and appreciate continuous improvement, while harvesting learnings to enhance our business and team.

Here's how
- Act as a trusted partners to Business leaders and the People & Culture team; consult and advise on Sales Incentive strategies and execution tactics to elevate our winning culture as a sustainable competitive advantage
- Provide thought leadership, market intelligence and best practice to clients on sales incentive topics to improve organizational capability
- Weave through complexity and ambiguity to provide simplified recommendation to help stakeholders arrive aligned decisions on incentive issues and structures
- Manage the annual conversations around Sales Incentive strategy at TELUS, driving timely decisions on enhancements to pay structures across a variety of roles while ensuring all relevant stakeholders are fully engaged
- Drive regular governance forums to ensure alignment in decision making between P&C, Finance, Marketing and Sales
- Support monthly pay processing cycles to ensure team members are being paid timely and accurately
- Foster a continuous improvement mindset; continually look for opportunities to increase the ROI of people programs and ways to improve the internal client experience and drive a culture of appreciation
Qualifications
You're the missing piece of the puzzle
- Consultant: exceptional collaboration, relationship management, influencing and negotiation skills, including compelling storytelling and presentation to executive audiences, and advanced stakeholder management
- Analyst: strong business and financial acumen, including experience using financial modeling skills to create sound business cases
- Problem solver: the fundamentals of taking a problem, examining the challenge, building recommendations and executing on those recommendations
- Compelling communicator: clear, concise and influential in all aspects of communication
- Big thinker: strategic, critical and creative
- Driver: proven track record leading and delivering on multiple, complex initiatives simultaneously from creation to tactical implementation
- Decisive: grounded in data where there’s more than your gut
- Experienced change management lead: end-to-end ownership of large scale initiatives
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and education
- Demonstrated experience influencing executives including VPs and Senior Vice Presidents
Advanced knowledge of English is required, because you will, most of the time, interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.), interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.), as part of this position's main responsibilities, given its national scope.
