What you will do:
As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies and the strategic procurement of your respective category. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate, draft, and manage contracts, and work closely with internal stakeholders and supplier account teams to meet procurement objectives. You will also leverage your market knowledge to develop and deploy world-class approaches to spend management while utilizing e-procurement tools to deliver cost reduction.
We are looking for a candidate who has a solid understanding of IT and cloud technologies and can expertly navigate the cloud ecosystem. You should possess strong strategic vendor management expertise, have a reputation for driving change and innovation, and be recognized as an exceptional communicator, influencer, and negotiator.
To excel in this role, you should have proven experience in leading IT supplier negotiations and structuring deals, as well as strong business and financial acumen. You should be prepared to pivot quickly and be able to analyze and translate facts, data, and intelligence into key insights and recommendations and have a reputation for project execution excellence and achieving results in a complex environment.

What you bring:
- 5+ years of procurement experience leading IT, SaaS, Cloud contract negotiations (i.e. pricing, terms, performance management and SLA development), drafting legal agreements, and implementing risk mitigation best practices
- Good understanding of strategic sourcing and vendor management concepts and best practices, related to the procurement of products and services
- Recognized for driving change and innovation[1]
- Regarded as an exceptional communicator, influencer and negotiator, able to build and maintain effective partnerships internally and externally with all stakeholders, including senior leaders
- Noted as having strong business and financial acumen
- Sought out for your ability to seek out, analyze and translate facts, data and intelligence into key insights, concept and recommendations
- With a reputation for project execution excellence and achieving results in a complex environment
- With a Bachelor’s degree in any domain
