We’re looking for a dynamic communications professional to join our B2B communications team and support a wide range of internal and external communications, executive visibility, and events. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys juggling multiple priorities, and is eager to bring creativity and structure to both day-to-day tasks and special projects.
What you’ll do
Internal communications
- Draft and edit internal communications, including team updates, leadership notes, and talk notes.
- Publish internal bulletins using Adobe Campaign
- Help draft and manage content on Workvivo
- Develop and execute creative strategies to drive engagement across internal channels, maintaining content calendars and analyzing performance to recommend improvements.
External communications
- Assist with event briefs, backgrounders, and materials for executive public speaking engagements
- Support executive thought leadership, including content development for LinkedIn and other external channels, ensuring alignment with brand and business priorities
- Monitor social media activity, track performance, and provide insights to refine strategy
Internal events
- Coordinate logistics for key internal events (e.g. town halls)
- Serve as a core team member for large-scale internal events, managing registration processes, liaising with stakeholders, and maintaining timelines and project trackers
- Capture meeting notes, track deliverables, and ensure deadlines are met
Team coordination & innovation
- Maintain team communications calendars and ensure visibility of priorities across the team
- Act as a point of contact for internal processes, tools, and distribution lists
- Research and recommend new tools, including AI solutions, to improve team efficiency and communications impact
Special Projects
- Provide support on ad-hoc initiatives, offering structure, follow-through, and attention to detail.
Qualifications
What you bring
- At least 5-7 years of progressive experience in an agency, corporate or government communications environment, supporting, developing and executing internal and/or external communications plans and programs
- Undergraduate degree, and/or a Diploma in Communications from a Community College. Additional post-secondary education in a related discipline, an Accredited in Public Relations or an Accredited Business Communicator designation are considered assets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with experience balancing multiple priorities
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable to fast-moving environments
- Experience with event coordination and communications platforms
- Comfortable using digital tools, with curiosity for AI and emerging technologies
Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.
