As a manager of Consumer Research and Insights, you will work on research which enables data-backed, strategic decision making. We are a team of highly skilled market researchers who partner with departments across TELUS to ensure action oriented outcomes for research using our best in class research program.
You will be part of the Consumer Research & Insights team that supports research across our wireline products and service offerings. In this exciting portfolio, additionally, you will have an opportunity to conduct primary research to dive into new or emerging market opportunities. You will thrive as the ‘go-to’ person for custom research as well as conduct specialized research to support multicultural and customer loyalty program stakeholder teams.

Work on projects that creatively and effectively "get inside the minds" of our current and future customers, and be the voice of customers through your research. You will own end to end research programs that help identify issues and pain points, highlight improvement and opportunity areas, and advance decision making and business actions.
What you will bring
- Experienced in the ability to design surveys, build tab plans, create analysis plans, and pull data into reports with an eye for data quality
- Skilled in drawing out, developing reports and summarizing insights that can inform or drive actions
- Highly curious researcher who is invested in discovering insights and delivering findings to stakeholders in a proactive way
- Exhibits initiative, willingness to learn, and is comfortable with trying new approaches as it relates to research
- A mindset that looks for opportunities to drive improvement
- Collaborate effectively and concisely communicate in verbal and written form
- Confidence in presenting your research in small groups and to wider audiences
- Strong data visualization skills, and always looking for the story in the data

Qualifications
- Post Secondary degree
- Ideally you have about 3-5 years experience of conducting market research studies across a variety of methodologies
- Must have quantitative research experience where you have been comfortable handling projects end-to-end
- Experience with one or more of: ad hoc and/or custom research, product / concept testing research, research to assess market opportunities, and/or customer experience research
- An ability to work with survey data for a variety of statistical analysis, such as SPSS
- Qualitative research experience is a strong asset
- Experience conducting research on panels such as Qualtrics considered an asset
