Description

 

The Consumer Research and Insights team enables research and databased strategic decision-making across the organization. We are a team of highly skilled market researchers who consult with departments across TELUS to ensure action-oriented outcomes for research using our best-in-class research program.

 

You will be part of the Mobility Consumer Research and Insights team that supports TELUS, Koodo, and Public Mobile. You will contribute to a fast-paced and innovative team that uses leading-edge research methodologies and tools. You will work with our programs to creatively and effectively "get inside the minds" of our current and future customers. You will support end-to-end research programs that help identify issues and pain points, as well as how we perform in our competitive set. This is the most junior position on our team.

 

 

Qualifications

 

To be successful in this role, you must have:

 

  1. A clear understanding of questionnaire design best practices
  2. The ability to work with data to create clear and concise reports
  3. The drive to check and double-check your work - high attention to detail is needed
  4. A collaborative mindset, with the ability to listen, learn from, and share your thoughts to drive positive outcomes on our team
  5. Comfort in dealing with multiple stakeholders - in our team, with our suppliers, and your business peers in the wider organization
  6. The aptitude to handle multiple projects and priorities at once
  7. A naturally curious mind, interested in learning about research & our business
  8. The skill to approach your day-to-day work with a creative mindset and be willing to solve problems in unconventional ways

 

Skills

 

  • Post-Secondary degree
  • Less than 2 years of research experience - this role is not appropriate for those with more experience
  • Familiarity with SPSS, either as a current user or with the ability to learn quickly
  • Exposure to quantitative research methods
  • Experience with one or more of: innovation research, brand health research, advertising research, or customer experience research
  • Able to work independently and with a team
