You will collaborate closely with clinical experts, product teams, and business stakeholders to transform complex health data into actionable intelligence — ultimately improving the health outcomes of millions of Canadians and global customers.

Our team and what we’ll accomplish together

Join a team at the forefront of digital health innovation, where your work directly contributes to improving people's lives through technology and data-driven insights.

TELUS Health is a leading digital health company and a division of TELUS, one of Canada's largest telecommunications and technology companies. We are dedicated to leveraging the power of technology to revolutionize health and wellness for individuals, employers, and healthcare providers.

Our solutions span employee wellness programs, pharmacy management, electronic health records, virtual care, and mental health services — all powered by cutting-edge data science and AI. We serve millions of customers across Canada and internationally, making us one of the most impactful health technology organizations in the world.

What you’ll do

  • Design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning and statistical models using health and wellbeing datasets to generate actionable insights

  • Create compelling, interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Looker, and Power BI to communicate insights to clinical and business stakeholders
  • Conduct rigorous mathematical modelling to support predictive analytics, risk stratification, and population health management
  • Develop and present ROI calculations and business impact analyses to quantify the value of data science initiatives and health interventions
  • Experience communicating complex mathematical analyses and models to a lay audience in a business setting
  • Partner with clinical, product, and engineering teams to define data science requirements and translate business problems into analytical solutions
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and privacy compliance in alignment with PIPEDA, PHIPA, GDPR, and other applicable health data regulations
  • Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to a culture of analytical excellence and continuous learning
  • Stay current with emerging trends in health AI, generative AI, and data science methodologies

Qualifications

What you bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Epidemiology, or a related quantitative field

  • Proven experience in developing agentic AI systems, including multi-agent architectures, LLM orchestration, and tool-use frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI)
  • Strong foundation in mathematical modelling, including statistical inference, optimization, simulation, and predictive modelling techniques
  • Experience conducting ROI analyses and translating analytical findings into business value narratives for executive audiences
  • Proficiency in Python and/or R, with experience in libraries such as scikit-learn, or similar
