We are looking for a dynamic Director, Sales to lead our sales team in delivering exceptional customer outcomes and achieving our strategic business priorities in our Pharmacy portfolio.  This role will report directly to the General Manager, Pharmacy.

As the Director, Sales, you will lead the sales efforts for the Pharmacy portofolio in TELUS Health. You will develop and implement strategies for our clients, providing best-in-class solutions to support their business priorities. You are a dynamic leader who thrives in an ever evolving, fast-paced environment who will establish clear objectives and support the team in achieving excellence in all respects. 

 

Here's how..

 

  • Developing and implementing a strategic sales plans by identifying opportunities, risks and available resources with the aim of optimizing sales growth; adapt and carry forward sales channels and all other corporate strategies as needed
  • Successfully implement the sales plan and exceed targets
  • Leading, mentoring and supporting the sales teams with all matters pertaining to client interactions
  • Engaging and motivating the sales team to achieve its targets; conduct performance assessments and provide direction and ongoing feedback
  • Identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities with existing company’s clients and new prospects
  • In collaboration with marketing and operations, develop programs designed to help secure new client accounts and enhance the retention of existing clients;
  • Establishing exceptional working relationships with the company’s clients, partners and external stakeholders
  • Supporting and champion a structured sales process through Professional Sales Organization that relies on key metrics to ensure ongoing sales performance improvement
  • Driving high value RFP Sales

Qualifications

 

You're the missing piece of the puzzle…

 

  • 7 to 10 years of experience of successful leadership in B2B sales at enterprise and SMB levels in the pharmacy or healthcare sector
  • Experience with CRM is required; preferably Salesforce.com
  • Bilingualism in French (asset) and English is essential
  • Excellent relationship building and negotiation skills with strategic and consultative approach to sales
  • Ability to drive and close strategic high value RFPs
  • Energetic, resilient and goal oriented leader who thrives on growing and coaching a sales team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to plan, prioritize and consistently exceed targets and expectations
  • Exhibit a polished, professional image and mature communication style while demonstrating sound judgment, integrity, flexibility, adaptability to change
  • Ability to effectively work across different parts of the organization, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
