We are looking for a talented leader to support the Planning and Performance team within Mobility Solutions.  This cross functional role provides a unique full P&L perspective with the opportunity of improving business planning and performance through data and insight driven decision making. 
 

  • You will help TELUS Mobility Solutions make strategic business decisions based on performance and market trends.
  • Develop the strategy and tactics for optimizing profitability
  • Support the reporting of financial and non-financial metrics, and development of forecasting and business models for planning purposes and to guide decision making
  • Proactively search for opportunities for improvement with a cross-functional stakeholder team
  • Collaborate with a wide variety of mobility stakeholders to drive towards a common goal
  • Resolve ambiguity using a structured approach of hypothesis testing and triangulating across multiple methods
  • Provide coaching, direction and support to a direct team of 15 talented team members

Qualifications

  • You are very capable of managing change and prioritizing in a dynamic work environment

  • Deep knowledge of strategy and corporate finance
  • Entrepreneurial attitude that drives ownership and accountability  #LI-hybrid
  • Understanding of 4P marketing management in a large corporation
  • Forecasting concepts and methodologies
  • Understanding of database management practises, Microsoft Excel, 
  • Industry experience would be an asset
  • Strong problem identification & problem solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, structured approach to analysis and the ability to develop strategic insights
  • Ability to operate independently and proactively, or lead a broad cross functional team
  • Well-developed planning and organizational skills
  • Strong communications and relationship building skills
  • Experience leading a highly engaged and effective team
