We are looking for a strong, driven Executive Assistant with a broad track record for partnering with all levels of the organization to help senior leaders drive exceptional results, develop highly talented and engaged teams, and collaborate effectively.
As a proven achiever and polished professional, you will provide confidential support to the President Commercial and Public Sector, collaborate with other Executive Assistants inside and outside of the Commercial and Public Sector Team, and interface with key leaders and clients. This is a hybrid opportunity where you will have flexibility to work from home and from our Toronto Harbour office, within our Workstyles program guidelines.
What you'll do
As an Executive Assistant to the President Commercial and Public Sector you will take on many exciting roles each day:
- Collaborative Communicator: convey professionalism with all levels of management, senior executive management, internal and external stakeholders (orally, written and presentations)
- Strong Organizer: manage and prioritize calendar scheduling, including travel requirements, to ensure time is focused where it will have the most impact
- Proactive Self-starter: carry out special projects, as assigned and independently research, prioritize and follow up on status
- Meeting & Event Organizer: coordinate and conduct departmental meetings or team events
- Program Leadership: collaborate with the Commercial and Public Sector team and TELUS Business Solutions Leadership Team to develop and execute on programs underpinning our key culture pillars
- These include programs such as off-sites, communications activities, recruitment and on-boarding efforts, and other programs to progress our culture goals
- Administrative Expertise: screen and address incoming correspondence, inquiries and phone calls, act as a delegate for submission and approvals on multiple TELUS platforms as required, prepare expense reports, monthly budget reports, invoice processing and purchase requisitions, survey creations and reports
- Client Experience Advocate: handle team member & customer requests and concerns with tact and diplomacy
Qualifications
What you bring
- Strong initiative, positive attitude, ability to use discretion and to work well with others
- Professional corporate image combined with strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to communicate in a professional manner with customers, team members at all levels in the organization, and partners (verbal and written)
- Ability to anticipate needs, work independently, and be decisive when necessary with minimal supervision
- Willingness to work in a role that requires high degree of flexibility in terms of rapidly changing priorities and reasonably broad scope of deliverables (i.e. pure administration to project management-type work)
- Excellent calendar management, planning/organizing, business writing and presentation skills
- Advanced knowledge of Google Suite, and knowledge of Adobe PDF, SAP, Concur, Success Factors and/or Workday
- 5+ years of equivalent experience partnering with senior-level executives
- Incredible grit, drive for success, commitment to delivering on promised outcomes, and sense of humour
- You must be a good human, and committed to customer, community, team and serving with purpose
