The Connected Home & Entertainment (CHE) team is central to bringing world class products and services to market, responsible for ensuring our business transforms to meet the evolving needs of the communities we serve. Directly supporting the CHE leadership team, you’ll leverage your entrepreneurial mindset and start-up mentality to build on the foundation already established and help us expand it further by providing the financial rigor for planning our strategic priorities across the organization.

As a strategic and innovative thinker that isn’t afraid to work in ambiguous circumstances, you’ll help us to continue growing the reach and capabilities of Connected Home & Entertainment (CHE) nationally. You’ll work closely with leaders from across Connected Home & Entertainment and the greater TELUS organization to help develop our strategy and lead the execution of key elements of it.
Here’s how
Develop key success metrics and dynamic scenario models to be used to drive data-driven decision-making, including by:
- Building financial models to forecast revenues and expenses
- Creating and monitoring key performance indicators
- Creating analyses and financial frameworks for new products and GTM strategies
- Working with big data and transforming it into insights and information
- Shaping strategy by measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of different sales and marketing strategies, as levers to impact customer engagement
- Defining and translating customer metrics into a value structure to segment and action
- Developing new systems, processes, controls and policies, and leading automation efforts
- Partner with senior leaders to develop short-term and long-term strategic plans for CHE
- Support CHE team with ad hoc analyses and summary reports CHE 2022
You’re the missing piece of the puzzle
- Known for your work in analysis, finance, accounting, business, economics or equivalent
- With an ability to build complex financial models and forecast multi-year business plans
- Having experience modeling for M&A activities, including financial and market model development
- Familiarity with software as a service business models and key financial and customer parameters
- Able to calculate and explain risks and optionality, and making recommendations

- 1+ years at a top tier investment bank
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Relevant work experience in telecommunications, media, software, tech
