Location: Toronto, ON

Status: Temporary, part-time (24 hours/week hybrid)

Schedule: Days TBD- 3 days/week

 

TELUS Health is looking for a part-time Fitness & Wellness Consultant to support two separate clients in Toronto. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Wellness Programming & Instruction:

 

  • Design and deliver engaging wellness programming including workshops, webinars and wellness challenges

  • Coordinate and lead virtual stretch breaks, mindfulness breaks and group exercise classes

  • Provide consultations tailored to employee needs related to fitness, nutrition and stress management

  • Plan and execute health promotion events and wellness challenges

  • Chair and facilitate monthly client meetings

 

Program Promotion & Engagement:

 

  • Promote wellness initiatives through internal channels and platforms

  • Develop and maintain the annual program plan

  • Develop and share engaging content to drive participation and awareness

  • Manage and update onsite wellness communications, including monthly newsletters and resources

  • Provide support to the Client’s wellness committees and other corporate initiatives 

 

Administration & Reporting:

 

  • Track participation across all sessions

  • Prepare monthly statistics reports and an annual report

  • Communicate regularly with client stakeholders and internal teams to provide updates, insights, and recommendations for program improvement

  • Prepare monthly reports and an annual report which highlights participation and employee feedback

Qualifications

 

What you bring

 

  • Degree or diploma in Kinesiology, Fitness or Health promotion

  • Current certifications in group fitness, personal training and CPR/First Aid/AED 

  • Energetic, confident, reliable, positive, engaging with a passion for fitness and health

  • Works well as part of a team

  • High degree of self motivation and initiative

  • Strong organization and time management skills 

  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and customer service skills

  • Strong computer skills with ability to adapt to and learn various software applications

  • Experience in the corporate fitness & wellness field an asset

Salary Range:  $18-$31
