TELUS Health is looking for a part-time Fitness & Wellness Consultant for the Vaughan, ON area.
The Fitness & Wellness Consultant will be responsible for leading wellness initiatives within a corporate environment.
What you will do:
- Create and conduct wellness programming such as mindful meditation, walking breaks and stretch breaks
- Prepare and present fitness & wellness information both in person and virtually
- Facilitate fitness & lifestyle consultations and develop personalized wellness plans based on individual needs, preferences and goals
- Book monthly wellness committee meeting, prepare agendas and chair discussions
- Report monthly statistics and performance data to support decision making
Qualifications
What you bring
- Degree or Diploma in Kinesiology, Nutrition, Wellness, Fitness or Health Promotion
- Valid CPR/First Aid/AED required
- Current certifications in group fitness and personal training is an asset
- Experience in the corporate fitness & wellness field is an asset
- Energy, confidence, reliability, engaging with a passion for fitness and health
- Ability to work independently
- High degree of self-motivation and initiative
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and customer service skills
- Strong computer skills with ability to adapt to and learn various software applications
