TELUS Health is looking for a part-time Fitness & Wellness Consultant for the Toronto, ON area.

The Fitness & Wellness Consultant will be responsible for teaching a variety of group exercise classes, monitoring the wellness facility, and promoting health and wellness to employees.
Here’s how
- Supervision of a corporate fitness and wellness facility
- Instructing and scheduling of fitness classes and monitoring participation
- Monitoring facility usage to provide guidance and ensure safety of members
- Facilitate the completion of GAQ screening forms and waivers for new members
- Ensure public health measures/cleaning protocols are followed in the facility
- Providing fitness and wellness programming
- Reporting of monthly and/or quarterly statistics
- Oversee contract fitness instructors & allied health professionals if required
Qualifications
You're the missing piece of the puzzle
- Degree or Diploma in Kinesiology, Fitness or Health Promotion
- Current certifications in Group Fitness and CPR/First Aid/AED
- Personal Training certification is preferred
- Experience in the corporate fitness & wellness field an asset
- Energetic, confident, reliable, positive, engaging with a passion for fitness and health
- Works well as part of a team
- High degree of self-motivation and initiative
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and customer service skills
- Strong computer skills with ability to adapt to and learn various software applications
