The primary focus of the position is growth and retention of Enterprise accounts nationally, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by collaborating with the account team to drive real and long standing business value. As a Junior Account Manager/Sales Associate, you will champion TELUS inside of customer organizations and advocate for the customer inside of TELUS.
Here's how
- Support internal pre-sales/sales activities for your assigned sales team
- Increase coverage by targeting operational levels for larger accounts primed by Sales Executives
- Selling at the operational level, mainly by handling change requests
- Act as prime for responding to client procurement process
- Identify opportunities and pass leads to Sales Executives and sales leaders
- Develop RFPs, quotes, statement of work (SoW), and deliver proposals to customers
- Consult and recommend TELUS solutions that align with client needs and business transformation goals
- Support accurate and timely forecasts, funnel hygiene, target/objective updates
- Support and collaborate with Sales Executives to manage account coverage, Target Account Selling (“TAS”) Completeness and TAS Quality & Pipeline Management
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by collaborating with the account team and internal support teams to drive real and long-standing business value
- Maintain customer relationship at D-level
- Own client relationships as well as growth, retention and renewal efforts for assigned enterprise accounts
Qualifications

- You are likely in a similar position now, with a minimum of three years of sales or sales support experience and an understanding of the procurement process in the public sector. You have many of the experience points and attributes below:
- You possess a strong customer focus and drive to take accountability
- You are known as a strategic, integrated thinker, with an ability to connect the dots on what is being done, and why, right through to action
- You understand corporate structure, able to create and support relationships crossing lines of business and levels of management
- Effective Communication: You have a knack for building rapport, asking questions to understand and follow the lead of sales executive to arrive at positive outcomes
- Multi-project-management skills: You are highly organized, detailed oriented, and able to prioritize tasks and work with speed and accuracy
- Grit, energy and Drive: You have an ability to bounce back and approach set-backs as opportunities
