We are seeking a delivery-focused, product minded individual with competency in leadership and employer products to join our growing team as a Manager, Products & Services.

 

As the Manager, you will lead a team of product managers and owners who are focused on the development and implementation of products and services across various portfolios including mental health, wellbeing, and virtual care. In this role, you'll guide roadmap development and product strategy throughout the lifecycle of our offerings. Your leadership will be crucial in supporting rapid growth and scaling our business while venturing into uncharted territory. You'll ensure your team understands the 'what' and 'why' as they collaborate with business leads to develop the right solutions.

 

As a product leader, your deep understanding of the market will help us ensure we are differentiating and capitalizing on the key value differentiators on the TELUS Health ecosystem. You will be one of our chief problem solvers, generating breakthrough insights, providing dynamic value to our members, organizations, and providers across the globe. Our performance with product launches relies on our tenacity, our innovation and our flawless execution. Product Strategy & Roadmap:

 

  • Develop and execute product strategies that align with the company's vision and goals
  • Define and prioritize product roadmaps, balancing business needs, customer feedback, and market trends

 

Team Leadership:

 

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product managers, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture
  • Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and support professional development

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

 

  • Work closely with operations, customer success, engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless product development and launch
  • Act as the bridge between stakeholders, ensuring alignment on product goals and delivery timelines

 

Market Research & Analysis:

 

  • Conduct market analysis to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends in health tech
  • Translate insights into actionable product requirements and features

 

Product Lifecycle Management:

 

  • Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to launch and beyond
  • Ensure product performance is measured and iterated upon to maximize value and impact

 

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

 

  • Ensure all products meet regulatory requirements and quality standards specific to the health tech industry
  • Address user privacy, security, and ethical considerations in product design 

You’re the missing piece of the puzzle:

 

  • 5+ years of experience in a B2B or SaaS based product lead organization
  • Understanding of Agile product management principles with Scrum
  • Expertise and proficiency in developing and executing product strategies
  • Competency with technical development and user experience
  • Working knowledge of Github, Atlassian or similar tools
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to quickly learn new business and technical concepts and apply them in delivering value
  • Very strong communication skills
  • Strong relationship builder
  • Experience preparing easy to read and visually pleasing documentation, presentations and product overviews
  • Data-driven, familiarity with data visualization tools and the structures behind them
  • Creative and efficient problem solver

 

Nice to haves:

 

  • Bilingualism (English and French)
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or relevant field
  • Background in Healthcare or Mental Health

 

Advanced knowledge of English is required, because you will, most of the time, interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.), interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.), as part of this position's main responsibilities, given its national scope.

 

 

Salary Range:  $100,000-$150,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  20%
