As Manager, Organizational Change and Agility, you will be responsible for maintaining and evolving an environment within which a team of change practitioners, agility enablers, and communications strategists are empowered to foster and sustain better ways to work, think, and behave.
 

In the Organizational Change and Agility team, we challenge our assumptions and beliefs on a daily basis, collaborate and validate ideas with customers and partners, and adapt to constant change and ambiguity. As the leader of the team, you will connect the dots across enterprise-wise portfolios, strengthen change management and agile enablement capabilities across TELUS Digital leadership, and contribute to our inclusive culture.

Here's how


 

  • Drive change adoption and sustainment of digital acceleration efforts and their impact on customer, team member and business outcomes 
  • Empower effective decision-making across TELUS Digital leadership through timely information on opportunities, progress, and impact of change programs
  • Enable complex organizational change by providing change management coaching and leadership support for digital acceleration programs and initiatives including operating model evolution and organizational transformation
  • Establish a scalable training and coaching model to strengthen change management capabilities and agile ways of working across teams
  • Build partnerships and collaborate with stakeholders across TELUS in support of cross-functional business outcomes
  • Define measures of success to demonstrate change adoption and sustainment of digital acceleration efforts
  • Provide support, coaching, professional development, and goal setting for your team while fostering an inclusive culture
  • Ensure the team is aware of what good looks like, performance management, metrics
  • Work with recruitment team to hire top talent and create stable teams
  • Support team members on their professional development and career planning (ensuring that team members all have a plan)
  • Create a connection between the day-to-day work of team members to the bigger picture - ensuring alignment to strategy & vision


 

You're the missing piece of the puzzle
 

  • Extensive experience leading or implementing large-scale business, technology and/or organizational transformations
  • Demonstrated knowledge of proven change management models, frameworks and tools
  • A systems thinker with the ability to see the big picture and identify opportunities to address complex challenges and influence change
  • Confident in negotiating with, and influencing leaders across the organization, you are a highly effective collaborator with ability to build consensus across multi-functional teams
  • Ability to foster collaborative working relationships, provide thought leadership, and embrace diversity and new ideas
  • Ability to simultaneously tackle multiple projects and challenges with enthusiasm
  • Ability to develop and articulate succinct business rationale supporting recommendations 
  • Support team members with mentorship, engagement and well-being
  • Embrace all things digital and thrive in a fast paced, agile environment


 

Great-to-haves
 

  • Experience working in a change management, strategy or operations roles with demonstrated leadership performance and career progression
  • Experience in management consulting environments, with exposure to digital strategy 
  • Understanding of the TELUS digital capabilities and it’s key opportunities, challenges, and benefits
  • Noted for your adaptability, innovation and out of the box thinking, you are curious and never stop learning
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in a digital team
