The TELUS Supply Operations, Products and Analytics team is responsible for a number of functions including product development, project execution, master data governance and analytics, with a mandate of delivering common processes and technology across the SCM space.

 

We are looking for a seasoned leader with significant product/process management experience. This individual will need to help continually develop this strong and motivated team to build a culture of data stewardship, while building and fostering strong relationships across the business. This individual will lead a team responsible for intake, prioritization, documentation, development and maintenance of key procurement, supply chain and finance automations.

Reporting to the Director, Product and Analytics, you will own the automation backlog and budget. You will also be a trusted business partner supporting maintenance and system enhancements.

 

  • Develop and administer the automation pipeline
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define data governance policies, standards, and procedures
  • Provide guidance and support to data stewards, data owners, and other relevant stakeholders
  • Own the automation budget and be accountable for tradeoff decisions between projects
  • You will be a champion for your team and help foster a culture of continuous growth and development
  • You will use facts and data to substantiate your findings as well as highlight opportunities to look at problems through a different lens
  • You will present and regularly interact with senior leadership to deliver your findings and seek support or the removal of roadblocks
  • You will partner with teams to execute on the vision and outcome of your project as required, and use project management skills to deliver and control the outcomes

 

 

Qualifications

  • You have experience in product management and process design
  • You have a bias for action and are outcome-oriented
  • You are an expert communicator and can build strong stakeholder relationships
  • You are a proven teacher and mentor
  • You are independent, can multitask and efficiently manage multiple projects and asks, and engage leaders for support as required
  • You are strong relationship manager who can build rapport with stakeholders and working teams
  • You have a view to the future and can understand what the business needs to continue to evolve
  • You are a fast learner who can understand new systems, tools, and processes

 

Required experience:

 

  • Minimum 2-5 years experience in Operations, Product Management, or Development University degree in Business/ Commerce, Engineering, Operations Research, or related fields
  • Candidates without aforementioned degrees, but with a degree in any other discipline combined with relevant work experience are encouraged to apply
  • Experience developing process policies and driving alignment between disparate functions 
  • Strong and structured verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to identify and articulate problems, analyze and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data into executive-level presentations and recommendations
  • Superior relationship and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to quickly establish rapport with senior leaders, peers, and working teams
  • Advanced projects management skills and demonstrated experience managing multiple complex, technical, and supply chain programs with a broad stakeholder base
  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to lead workshops, large working groups, and create a common vision for cross-functional teams
  • Proven experience building and managing business cases as well as requirements gathering

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • Supply Chain Management Consulting Experience
  • Lean Six Sigma familiarity or certifications
  • People Leadership experience

 

 

Salary Range:  $108,000-$162,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  20%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
