What you'll do
As a trusted advisor to the VP, Digital Sales & Marketing, you will drive strategic planning, operational excellence, cross-functional collaboration, and team culture to achieve business objectives. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Strategy Development: Develop and refine the VP's strategic plan, aligning with company goals and priorities
- Internal Operations Management: Oversee internal team operations, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of key initiatives and projects. This includes managing team timelines, resource allocation, and financial planning
- PMO Leadership: Establish and lead a project management office (PMO) to drive cross-functional projects, initiatives, and programs across digital sales, 1:1 digital messaging, personalization, omni-channel transformation, and data unification
- Operational Excellence: Identify areas for process improvement, develop solutions, and implement changes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness
- Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior leaders, to ensure alignment and collaboration
- Market and Competitive Insights: Provide actionable market research, competitive analysis, and trend insights to inform strategic decisions, identify opportunities, and drive business growth
- Team Leadership: Lead a small, high-performing team to drive strategic initiatives, fostering agility and innovation while adapting quickly to market changes and customer needs
- Team Culture and Engagement: Drive and promote a positive, inclusive team culture, fostering collaboration, innovation, and growth mindset among team members. Partner with the VP to develop and implement initiatives that enhance employee engagement, recognition, and development
Qualifications
What you bring
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in strategy development, operations management, project management, or a related field, preferably in a digital sales and marketing environment
- Skills:
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation design skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and visually stunning decks for executive-level audiences
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear, concise, and inspiring language
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights
- Strong business acumen and understanding of digital sales and marketing principles
- Ability to collaborate with financial partners to develop business cases, investment profiles, and return on investment (ROI) analyses
- Knowledge:
- Digital sales and marketing strategies and trends
- Project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Data analysis and visualization techniques
- Presentation design and storytelling principles
