In this role, you wear several hats: part consultant, part coach and part driver. Focusing 6-24 months out, you lead a team of analysts and consultants who advise business leaders on people solutions that support their goals in a large, diverse, and fast-moving global business.
You integrate passion with a practical approach. You exhibit high emotional intelligence and can accurately assess the dynamics of a situation. You skillfully balance assertiveness with restraint. Your actions are always deliberate and strategic.
Your counsel is equal parts logic, analysis and strategy. You have a natural curiosity and appreciate continuous improvement, while harvesting learnings to enhance our business and team.

Here's how
- Lead a team of trusted partners to leaders across multiple business units and the People & Culture team; consult and advise on Sales Incentive strategies and execution tactics to elevate our winning culture as a sustainable competitive advantage
- Provide thought leadership, market intelligence and best practice at a global level on sales incentive topics to improve organizational capability
- Manage the annual conversations around Sales Incentive strategy at TELUS, driving timely decisions on enhancements to pay structures while ensuring stakeholders and senior leaders are fully engaged and aligned
- Influence and enhance the overall sales effectiveness through a comprehensive cross-sell strategy that serves as a cornerstone in all business unit sales incentive plans.
- Create synergies across a multinational global experiences from design through to implementation
- Foster a continuous improvement mindset; continually look for opportunities to increase the ROI of people programs and ways to improve the internal client experience and drive a culture of appreciation
Qualifications

- Leader: demonstrated success building, leading and supporting a highly engaged and high performance team that epitomizes fair process, entrepreneurial spirit, measured risk taking, and innovation
- Consultant: exceptional collaboration, relationship management, influencing and negotiation skills, including compelling storytelling and presentation to executive audiences, and advanced stakeholder management
- Analyst: Strong analytical, quantitative, and financial modeling skills specifically related to sales incentives, including the ability to effectively utilize data from multiple sources to drive incentive-related decisions.
- Problem solver: the fundamentals of taking a problem, examining the challenge, building recommendations and executing on those recommendations
- Compelling communicator: clear, concise and influential in all aspects of communication
- Big thinker: strategic, critical and creative
- Storyteller: Ability to communicate across a broad spectrum from detailed level to senior executives. Must be adept at conveying complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Driver: proven track record leading and delivering on multiple, complex initiatives simultaneously from creation to tactical implementation
- Decisive: grounded in data where there’s more than your gut
- Experienced change management lead: end-to-end ownership of large scale initiatives
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and education
- Demonstrated experience influencing executives including VPs and Senior Vice Presidents

- 3-5 years’ experience in a financial or analytical environment, including budget management
