Our Credit and Collections Strategy and Execution team has delivered benefits to all lines of business to the tune of $100 M over the last five years. That’s a whole lot of benefit! We do this through managing fraud and credit risk while having a positive impact on customer payment behaviour using advanced analytics, predictive modeling and digital-only tools. We find solutions and drive change across our Home Solutions, Smart Home Security and Mobility businesses.

What you’ll do


You will lead a team of 5 amazing people who manage credit and collection data across all lines of business at TELUS. Together, you will identify opportunities to influence strategy and reduce involuntary churn and bad debt. You collaborate with multiple teams including finance, credit strategy, collection strategy and marketing for home solutions, mobility, security and technology. With these stakeholders, you and your team will create forecasts for involuntary churn and bad debt as well as support current and new programs that continue to improve the TELUS bottom line.




What you bring


  • You have a knack for interpreting strategy and understanding how it impacts results
  • Your skill for breaking down the data that uncovers opportunities for ongoing improvement is unparalleled
  • You enjoy building forecasts using data models and using those to triage involuntary churn and bad debt
  • You wear multiple hats including communicator, facilitator and also data analytics interpreter
  • You are a team player that enjoys coaching, inspiring and celebrating team victories
  • You are a people person who thrives building relationships and flexing your excellent written and verbal communications skills



  • Knowledge of Oracle, SAS and R studio
  • Strong analytical and technical skills including quantitative analysis, programming and strategy integration
  • Strong knowledge of manipulating data using Excel and SQL
