Our Team and What We'll Accomplish Together

 

We're looking for a dynamic leader who thrives on turning complex data into actionable insights that drive business growth. In this role, you'll be at the intersection of strategic planning, community performance analytics, and Go-To-Market excellence, directly influencing TELUS's expansion and market success.


You'll lead critical initiatives including Market selection and prioritization, performance management, and executive reporting. If you're passionate about uncovering the "why" behind customer behavior and love seeing your recommendations shape go-to-market strategy, we want to hear from you.

 

What you'll do

 

Strategic Planning & Market Excellence

 

  • Lead PMO marketing initiatives, strategic planning, and market excellence programs
  • Drive program/project implementation and deployment across Ontario regions
  • Develop interlock processes and process improvements

 

Community Performance & Analytics

 

  • Conduct comprehensive community analysis, selection, and prioritization.
  • Manage unified Go-To-Market (GTM) yearly and quarterly planning initiatives
  • Oversee budget and performance management in collaboration with national teams, including gating KPIs, channel targets, product performance, orders/GA, and yield metrics
  • Design and maintain community performance and GTM dashboards

 

Research & Insights

 

  • Develop and test hypotheses to explain market performance and customer behavior
  • Take initiative to develop and execute client and market research programs to address identified issues and influence corporate strategy
  • Identify marketing problems and opportunities and creatively apply market research techniques

 

Executive Communication & Reporting

 

  • Conduct community GTM deep-dives, delivering insights and actionable data to orient strategy and monitor performance
  • Prepare executive presentations
  • Develop, communicate, and promote actionable research recommendations and KPI reporting to all levels of management
  • Communicate financial impact of recommendations and downstream effects on products and services
  • Calculate and report ROI on GTM events and initiatives

 

Leadership & Team Development

 

  • Drive a high-performing, highly engaged workforce through effective leadership activities
  • Implement measurable engagement and recognition programs
  • Ensure completion of quality performance processes and knowledge transfer
  • Define and prioritize information needs while managing multiple complex projects

 

Qualifications


What you bring

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in market research, business intelligence, or strategic planning
  • 2+ years of people leadership experience
  • Advanced proficiency in developing and executing market research programs to influence corporate strategy
  • Expert-level skills in data analysis, statistical modeling, and hypothesis testing
  • Proven ability to develop and communicate actionable research recommendations and KPI reporting to all management levels
  • Strong financial acumen with ability to articulate business cases and ROI
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization skills
  • Experience with dashboard development and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills for executive-level audiences
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Strategic thinking with strong problem-solving capabilities

 

 

Nice to Have

 

  • MBA or Master's degree in related field
  • Experience in telecommunications or technology industry
  • Knowledge of fibre network deployment and infrastructure planning
  • Familiarity with Go-To-Market strategy development
  • Experience with survey design and primary research methodologies
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • SQL or other data querying languages

     
Salary Range:  $101,000-$151,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  20%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
