The Public Mobile team is dynamic, driven, fast-paced, and highly engaged. Together, the team is responsible for the end-to-end success of the Public brand and business as a whole. Our team has direct responsibility, or supporting leadership, for all ‘4 Ps’ of the marketing mix to drive our business goals.

 

Here’s what we will accomplish together:

 

In this role you will be responsible for leading the team tasked with driving category momentum through the curation of our customers.  This starts with the acquisition of the customer and ensures a compelling value prop through product offerings that resonate with existing and prospective customers.  You and your team will realize this by building dynamic offerings, integrating cross-portfolio products, sound decision making in a hyper-competitive market and optimization of our investments to drive the best outcomes all with thoughtful and flawless market coordination and execution.

 

Here’s how:

 

  • Focus on tactical customer acquisition and growth strategy to meet business goals using 4Ps to ensure success
  • Develop product based value props and thought leadership to inform near-term outcomes and long term roadmap
  • P&L Owner, making decisions that ensure volume & ebitda outcomes with a focus on new customer growth
  • Leverage and inform the continuous improvements of the customer oriented tools that drive competitive advantages and ultimately growth within the category

 

 

Qualifications

  • An ability to understand the business deeply and seek out new opportunity areas and ideas
  • You are a problem solver with a bias to implement through product solves 
  • Develop and create compelling narratives from peers up to executives
  • Disciplined execution, ensuring quality of deliverables across a number of varied tasks and responsibilities
  • Thrive on ambiguity and change
  • A people first leader, focused on coaching and developing team members to drive better business outcomes

 

Great-to-haves:

 

  • Working experience in marketing as a people manager
  • Wireless telecommunications and/or technology-based industry experience is an asset
  • Working as a team on projects comprised of a wide range of integrated marketing activities

Salary Range:  $100,000-$150,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  20%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
