The Future Friendly Home (FFH), Data Insights and Value Generation team (DI & VG) is a high performing team focused on Data ownership, comprehension, analysis and ideation. Working closely with our business peers, this team is responsible for monitoring, reporting on and providing strategic business recommendations on the topics of Churn, Base management, Data Monetization and Hyper Personalized Marketing.

As an Intern student for our Marketing intelligence role, you will support your team through adHoc and task oriented requests, related to our Hyper Personalized Marketing work stream. Supporting strategic initiatives identified by the business you will assist in managing cross functional relationships, ensuring Proof of Concept (POC) programs are implemented and executed as intended and with efficiency. Your contributions within this role will allow you high visibility across a variety of cross functional stakeholders throughout our business. Your role in supporting our Hyper Personalized Marketing Journey at TELUS means that you will not only represent our team, but our organization in HOW you show up to the role each day. Your scope within the organization and proximity to key contributors means you will have the opportunity to drive true growth, in an environment set up for you to learn and develop as an emerging talent.

Here's how

 

  • As a successful candidate you would be supporting the implementation and facilitation of our Hyper Personalized Marketing Journey. This resource should be acting as junior PM/Strategy Execution facilitator and be accountable for managing the following key responsibilities of our Data Marketing team
  • Responsible for following up on progress of ongoing projects and communication of next steps (acting as mini PM) for HPJ HUB
  • Assisting with meeting facilitation and insights development
  • Learn about the business and strategy execution
  • Support in the building and updating of strategic decks - story telling
  • Participate in brainstorming activities for use cases and opportunity development
  • Maintain meeting minutes and follow up on next steps
  • Execute on AdHoc tasks to support the team
  • BONUS: The stretch goal for this role is for the candidate to develop a comfort with our corporate goals/strategic priorities and make recommendations for double clicks and opportunities for improvement
