The Channel Product and Services Go-to-Market team is looking for a strong leader to take initiative in TELUS Mobility Solutions by bringing to life our products and services in our physical bricks and mortar stores. About the role
We are seeking a Marketing Manager to develop and execute physical channel Go-to-Market strategies for our social purpose initiatives in addition to working through opportunities to enhance partner presence within the stores. This role partners directly with TELUS and Koodo Marketing and Channel cross-functional teams. You should be comfortable collaborating cross functionally and building comprehensive go-to-market strategies that will nurture successful adoption of our social purpose programs and partner elevation opportunities.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Assessing and evaluating the downstream impact of the products, programs and services you support, on leading indicators and lagging KPIs to continuously improve strategies and make recommendations on behalf of Channel
- Partnering with marketing stakeholders to advocate for Channel nuances and gain alignment on unique solutions
- Collaborating with cross-functional team members to develop and maintain a consolidated marketing strategy and roadmap with gating and outcomes
- Regular presentations to Leadership Teams, while anticipating questions and seeking alignment
- Prioritizing and consolidating all marketing activities, by understanding benefits and aligning with the overall strategy
- Facilitate real-time cross-functional triage of market movements, assisting and delivering expedited responses to stores
- Tackling ambiguous problems and recommend actionable solutions that you'll implement
- Conducting post-mortem evaluations, understanding the impact of past go-to-market activities and working to continuously improve strategies
Qualifications
What You Bring To The Team:
- Solid understanding and demonstrated experience in marketing, customer experience or not for profit organizations
- Strong data analysis and assessment skills; ability to identify risk, challenges and conflicting or complementary opportunities
- Outstanding critical thinking, planning, and prioritization competencies
- Motivated and willingness to take action and adaptable with a positive attitude
- A proven ability to deliver highly visible projects, ensuring project timelines, deliverables and outcomes are consistently exceeded
- Ability to work and pivot in a fast paced multi-level environment
- Exemplary presentation and storytelling abilities and able to craft clear, concise, and compelling messages within a story
- Strong relationship and negotiation skills and the ability to obtain commitment from partners
- Post-secondary degree in Commerce, Marketing, or Business Administration, or other related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience in sales, channel, marketing, or project management
- Knowledge of telecommunications and mobility products
Great-to-Haves:
- Experience in sales, channel, marketing or project management role for a consumer-facing retail brand
- Prior experience leading go-to-market planning
- A strong project management background
- Prior experience with not for profit organizations (working for or volunteering with)
