The TELUS Business SMB Demand Gen team is a group of passionate marketers responsible for 1:1 and digital advertising campaigns. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external agency partners, our job is to drive ecommerce and digitally assisted transactions through growth marketing.


Coordinating with both product and customer marketing teams, you will be responsible for optimizing SEM campaign performance for TELUS Business. This is a critical role that is key to hitting our inbound lead generation targets and driving growth for our digital sales channels. Here’s how


  • Create and manage paid search campaigns for our core products, including mobility / smartphones
  • Monitor and optimize paid search performance to ensure we’re achieving our objectives
  • Maintain and track daily and monthly campaign budgets, pacing, keyword bids and other KPIs
  • Take ownership of campaign performance: Provide recommendations for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, and other facets of paid search campaign management in accordance with business goals
  • Stay informed about the latest search industry trends, new tools, ad formats, and other innovations
  • Provide support on any, or all phases of projects, including but not limited to analyses, reporting, budget recommendations
  • Leverage all relevant tools for reporting, analytics, and competitive analysis





You’re the missing piece of the puzzle


  • You have 2+ years of experience in Paid Search Advertising (SEM/PPC) or similar role
  • You have in-depth experience with campaign management tools such as Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
  • You have working experience with Web Analytics tools (ex: Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics)
  • You have strong analytical skills and can compile and present campaign and digital data into decision-friendly information
  • You have strong competency working with Microsoft Excel
  • You have a good eye for compelling marketing copy
  • You have experience managing large budgets, forecasting spend and pacing ad spend appropriately
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • You thrive in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment, with entrepreneurial and self-starter characteristics




  • University degree or college certification in marketing or similar specialization
  • English / French Bilingual
  • Experience working with B2B clients
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics
  • Experience with Search Ads 360
