The Prepaid marketing team is charged with innovating, driving, and enabling the success of the TELUS and Koodo Prepaid portfolios. We play an essential role within the broader TELUS organization, acting as a crucial on ramp for many of our customers as they begin their relationship with a mobility provider. We are an agile and creative team focused on driving results, adapting to the changing market, and find new growth opportunities.

 

In this role, you will use the 4 P’s and strive to balance growth and value. You'll discover insights and uncover opportunities that will drive new and exciting value for the business. You will be responsible for delivering on key performance metrics that directly contribute to the success of the Prepaid portfolio. Your ability to bring together critical stakeholders from across the organization and get folks excited about your ideas and recommendations will help take the Prepaid Marketing portfolio to the next level.


What you’ll do

 

  • Own and manage prepaid pricing activities, including pricing recommendations, leading go-to-market activities for pricing changes, and monitoring the competitive landscape
  • Develop and implement strategic frameworks and tactical elements for prepaid pricing
  • Analyze key performance indicators to understand what internal and external factors contribute to our results, and find actionable insights that contribute to the portfolio targets
  • Perform scenario planning to anticipate market changes and develop responsive strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on short-term projects to increase revenue, acquisition volumes, or system capabilities
  • Conduct business casing and financial analysis to evaluate the impact of various pricing strategies and offers

 

We are excited to offer this role with the flexibility to be located anywhere in Canada. Please note, however, that the work hours for this position will need to align with Eastern Standard Time (EST).

  • You are comfortable analyzing data to interpret results, find trends and make recommendations
  • You have strong interpersonal skills to collaborate and gain alignment with diverse stakeholders and drive results in a challenging environment
  • You are an effective communicator who can speak with different team members about day-to-day tasks as well as present updates to senior leaders

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • Experience in the telecom industry or a similar customer-centric field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
  • Experience in pricing strategy development

 

 

Salary Range:  $75,000-$113,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  12%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
