Description
Our team and what we’ll accomplish together
The Mobility Postpaid Brand Strategy team is focused on developing and delivering the mid to long-term strategies for TELUS and Koodo Mobility brands and products. We aim to optimize and evolve the value propositions across rate plan suites, device programs, multi-user constructs, rewards programs, and service experiences. Our ultimate goal is to drive brand differentiation, and improve Mobility EBITDA and Household Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) by enhancing and simplifying product journeys and ensuring the optimal introduction of new products into the market.
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and results-oriented Program Manager to join the TELUS and Koodo Mobility Brand and Marketing Strategy team. This role is essential for bringing structure, clarity, and discipline to our critical marketing programs and projects.
You will own the program management framework and execution for the team's initiatives, driving momentum from planning through execution. You will be the central pivot point, ensuring all activities, milestones, and cross-functional dependencies are tracked, communicated, and delivered on time. This role requires an "ownership" mentality and a commitment to maintaining the highest standard of project governance.
What you’ll do
The Program Manager will be accountable for establishing and maintaining the operational structure for the team's programs, including:
- Program & Project Governance:
- Develop, implement, and maintain standardized project and program management templates for tracking activities, milestones, key dependencies, and progress against established timelines
- Create and manage a centralized repository for all project documentation and status reports
- Meeting Management & Communications:
- Proactively plan, schedule, and lead all regular project meetings, including internal team sync-ups, cross-functional working sessions, and leadership status updates
- Develop and distribute clear, concise meeting agendas in advance, ensuring all participants are prepared
- Coordinate and consolidate updates from team peers and cross-functional partners (e.g., Technical Program Managers, Operations) to inform status reports
- Lead the creation of high-quality presentation material for status reviews and executive briefings, working in close partnership with the marketing strategy primes.
- Driving Execution:
- Maintain an "ownership" mindset over the project/program management frameworks and processes used by the team
- Act as the primary driver for follow-ups and coordination, ensuring that accountability is clear and action items are completed in a timely manner
- Proactively identify potential risks or roadblocks and work with team members and leadership to escalate or resolve issues
- Ensure alignment between the Brand and Marketing Strategy team and other functional teams throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications
What you bring
- 3+ years of experience in project management, program management, or a similar coordination/operational role, preferably within a fast-paced, evolving environment like marketing, technology, or telecommunications
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and tailor messaging for different audiences (working teams vs. leadership).
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Figma, Monday.com) and proficiency in Google Workspace (including Slides, Sheets, Docs and Forms)
- A track record of being proactive in seeking out necessary information, coordinating updates, and pushing projects forward without constant direction
Great-to-haves
While not strictly required, the following experience and attributes will make a candidate stand out:
- Experience working within the Mobility, Telecommunications, or Brand/Marketing sectors
- PMP, PRINCE2, or other recognized project/program management certifications
- Experience in developing or refining new operational processes and templates for a team or department
- Proven ability to successfully navigate and coordinate with large, diverse cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Product, Technology, Legal)
