We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Program Manager to join TELUS Business Solutions, as part of the Program Office supporting our global SMB Sales team.You will be responsible for leading and delivering projects and programs on a global scale in support of our TELUS Digital Experience Sales teams. Your focus will be on developing strategies for training, quality and additional key programs that enable our sales teams. Our objective is to provide innovative programs that drive performance, engagement and insights across our business.

 

In this role, you will collaborate with multiple internal cross-functional teams, external vendors, and multiple layers of leadership. What you’ll do:

 

As a Program Manager, you will utilize your collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to implement viable and scalable programs across a global team. You will oversee project timelines and resources to ensure timely and effective delivery of programs that provide ROI and drive results. You will also play a key role in influencing program outcomes and providing support for VP and director level initiatives in a confident and positive manner. Leveraging your program management expertise with your sharp project management and presentation skills, you break down complex initiatives and bridge them from strategy to execution. With your passion for innovative technology and continuous pursuit of excellence, you’ll help cement our aim to be the best sales organization in the world.

Qualifications

 

What you bring:

 

  • You have in-depth knowledge of technology including wireless, wireline core products
  • You have significant experience in implementing complex projects from requirements gathering, to planning, to implementation and governance
  • You can act as a strategic consultant as you lead and/or support the delivery of projects
  • You possess strategic planning and program / project management skills
  • You have an extraordinary ability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence across multiple teams
  • You are self-motivated and can take decisive action by assessing risk-adjusted options and prioritization across multiple of concurrent projects and work streams
  • Excellent negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, including demonstrated ability to successfully manage many forms of conflict (e.g. resourcing, priorities, circular dependencies)
  • Your demonstrated track record of success delivering results and performing at high levels of operational efficiency
  • You have a real passion for working in a dynamic, high performance culture and for building, operating, and transforming new ideas into reality
  • Your strong organization, presentation, and communications skills are second to none
  • You are creative and enjoy thinking outside-of-the-box and implementing contrarian ideas to standard practices entrenched in a traditional industry
  • You are a champion of program and project management best practices across all knowledge areas and highly skilled in change management
  • You have an ability to interpret corporate strategies and translate them into practical project plans
  • You possess an excellent understanding, discipline and ability to balance program strategy with business needs and priorities

 

Great-to-haves:

 

  • Post-secondary degree in STEM, business or related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of program/project management experience leading complex collaborative technology projects
  • Previous experience in professional sales environments or call centres
  • PMP certification
  • Knowledge of collaboration tools like Google Workspace and Asana
  • Experience implementing projects involving various methodologies including waterfall, agile and hybrid
  • Experience with systems like Smart Desktop, CPMS, FieldGlass, Genesys and CXOne
  • Knowledge and experience with Domo and Salesforce
  • Bilingual (English and French)
Salary Range:  $94,000-$140,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
