Description

Our Team & What We’ll Accomplish Together

As Project Manager II, Program Office - Channel Systems, you will be part of a high-performing team who bridges the gap between business and systems by bringing transformational TELUS initiatives and programs to life. You will work with cross functional teams across Channel and throughout TELUS in ensuring projects are delivered on-time and in-line with requirements.
As PMII on the Channel Systems team, you represent our team as an ambassador and advocate for technology solutions and strategy within Channels. 


What You’ll Do


●    Lead end-to-end execution and delivery of a portfolio of transformational business & systems projects while keeping stakeholder groups consistently informed of status and direction
●    Partner with diverse teams across TELUS to gather project requirements and ensure no stone is left unturned
●    Document and keep track of moving project pieces through detailed project management artifacts (Workback schedules, risk & issue logs, action logs, etc)
●    Maximize project team performance by providing team members with a clear sense of direction and an understanding of their respective responsibilities, and by encouraging open discussion of ideas, issues, and competing viewpoints
●    Leverage your project and stakeholder management skills to achieve buy-in and alignment on strategy and execution approach on key integration initiatives
●    Define key project success measures and supporting analytic capabilities
●    Use your superb communication skills to develop and present clear, concise and tailored content to senior leadership 
●    Act as a translator between business and technical/systems teams to ensure common understanding and that all requirements and project needs are accounted for

 

Qualifications


●    Degree in Business or Technology
●    3+ years of related experience in project/initiative management
●    Noted for your ability to understand technology changes, system enhancements and effectiveness in communicating technical terms to business audiences 
●    Excellent written and verbal communication skills with expertise in preparing PowerPoint or Google presentations for executive-level audiences
●    Ability to effectively engage stakeholders to establish cross functional alignment for projects
●    Exceptional analytical skills with abilities to conduct thorough root cause and fit-gap analysis

Great to Haves


●    Knowledge & background in Channel systems and processes is an asset
●    Project Management Certification (PMP, PgMP, etc.)
●    Bilingual fluency (English and French) an asset 

Salary Range:  $74,000-$112,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  12%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
