Join our team and what we'll accomplish together

Join our team as a SAP Technical Architecture Lead and be a part of our exciting transformation journey at TELUS. As a member of the SAP & Enterprise Shared Services team, you will play a crucial role in modernizing our infrastructure, leveraging strategic relationships with SAP and Google to accelerate value, quality, and velocity for our highly innovative TELUS business stakeholder teams. With a cloud-first, agile, and digital mindset, we are embarking on a modernization program that includes migrating to SAP (RISE) S/4HANA and integrating various enterprise workloads on the Google Cloud Platform.

Our daily actions are guided by three tenets that are critical for our success:

  • ArchDevOps: We are closing the gap between strategy and execution via embedded agile architectural practices into the DevOps lifecycle, easy flow, and real-time in-the-moment review

  • Product-centric mindset: We focus on what our customers need with clearly defined outcome-based deliverables, and we deliver using a build-measure-learn loop model

  • Agile mindset: We apply agile architecture principles in everything we do

What you’ll do

  • Lead the technical architecture, design and implementation for our SAP S/4HANA modernization program.

  • Focus on infrastructure planning and optimization, ensuring a robust and scalable foundation for SAP S/4HANA.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including BASIS, Integration, and Reporting, to ensure seamless integration and data flow across systems.

  • Design and implement integration and API strategies between SAP and third-party systems, utilizing tools like PI/PO, and Integration Suite.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert, providing support and guidance on SAP technologies, system performance, and security.

  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for SAP S/4HANA, providing guidance and support to the project team.

  • Utilize expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to define and implement cloud solutions and infrastructure for SAP S/4HANA.

  • Drive the adoption of cloud operating models, ensuring efficient and scalable operations for our SAP landscape.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in SAP technologies, including SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP RISE, and provide recommendations.

  • Familiarity with cloud operating models, such as DevOps and Agile, and their application in SAP projects.

  • Awareness of SAP's Business Technology Platform (BTP) and RISE with SAP offerings, and their role in driving digital transformation.
