What You’ll Do:
As a trusted Security Subject Matter Expert (SME), you’ll be at the forefront of helping businesses solve their most pressing challenges. You’ll partner with prospective and current customers to uncover opportunities, craft tailored solutions, and drive sales growth. Your role will go beyond selling – you’ll be a strategic advisor, working closely with account primes and cross-functional teams to deliver tangible business outcomes.

- Shape the Future of Physical Security: In an end-to-end sales capacity, you will use your expertise to identify and drive opportunities, leveraging innovative need-creation techniques to grow TELUS’ security footprint
- Collaborate for Success: Work hand-in-hand with account teams, solution developers, product managers, and service managers to create value propositions that align with clients’ unique needs and long-term vision
- Deliver Tailored Solutions: Consult with customers to understand their business challenges and translate them into comprehensive security solutions, including intrusion detection, video surveillance, access management, and fire panel monitoring
- Be a Thought Leader: Stay ahead of industry trends, build strong relationships with key vendors and partners, and position yourself as a trusted advisor in the security space
- Drive Results: Execute strategic account plans, identify growth opportunities, and proactively engage sales leadership to deliver measurable outcomes for customers

What You’ll Need:
- A university degree in Business, Computer Science, Social Science, Engineering or relevant industry experience
- Relevant experience working with physical security OEMs/ vendors
- 5+ years of experience in sales, pre-sales, or tech sales
- A proven track record of solution selling and aligning offerings to business needs at the executive and senior technical levels
- Experience working with Mid-Market, Enterprise and Public Sector prospective accounts
