The Continuous Improvement and Innovation team (CI&I), is a multi-disciplinary, cross-functional team that leads experience design initiatives across TELUS Business Solutions (TBS) through the application of a unique combination of customer-centric and data-driven methods. We work cross-functionally to help our stakeholders innovate, solve problems and orchestrate sustainable change. Through repeatable methods, we are taking an active role in helping to shape our organizational culture as we deliver remarkable outcomes for our customers while tapping into the ingenuity of the TBS team. Whether you are supporting designing new experiences or redesigning existing services through critical analytical, project management methodologies and techniques, you’ll engage with users at the onset to hone in on what matters most and collaborate with them throughout data management, research and analysis to find great solutions and help to orchestrate sustainable change. What you will do in this role:
- Support engagement programs by collecting, managing and analyzing the business ideas while using the necessary platforms to promote the business and team members collaboration
- Strategically support multiple concurrent projects to deliver on customer insights, design concepts, prototypes, and tests that will inform insights and case studies that draw out themes, implications, and linkages with working group team members and executive audiences
- Lead timely and actionable reporting and insights to support decision making across the team & the organization and develop and drive innovative data models and trend analysis techniques to identify potential business opportunities and challenges
- By working collaboratively with internal and external Stakeholder teams – providing advice and clarity on data needs and to ensure their decision-making is enabled in a timely manner
- Leverage your proven ability to work with internal partners across the service continuum, including Product & Services, Sales, Marketing, Business Customer Experience and beyond
Qualifications
You’re the missing piece of the puzzle
- 5+ years of business analysis experience that includes financial and business acumen in supporting the delivery of projects in a cross-functional environment
- Expert ability to break down / decompose complex data sets and ambiguous problems to tell meaningful business stories and to effectively communicate complex financial analysis or results to senior leadership
- You have outstanding financial modeling skills, with Strong fluency with Excel/google formulas and functions
- Strong analytical acumen to differentiate and translate business needs into working requirements for data and pipeline development
- Have a passion for change and excited about sharing it; you accept ambiguity and learning new things
- Be an energetic self-starter in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
- You are a results-driven achiever who is able to inspire team members to continuously improve
- Keen eye for details and high accuracy in performing tasks
Great-to-haves
- Experience in process improvement, design thinking or similar methodologies
- Experience with graphic design to generate visuals to communicate the right ideas
- PMP certification (or equivalents) desirable
- Google Data Studio & Google Suite Skills
- Practical knowledge of programming software, building websites and video editing
