What You’ll Do

In this fully remote role, you will be at the forefront of driving change and innovation. You’ll work closely with Product Owners, project team members, and stakeholders to assess intake requests and understand the scope and vision of our ServiceNow, SFDC, and New Service Introduction Roadmap projects. We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team and lead the implementation of cutting-edge technologies that will revolutionize the way we deliver services and exceed customer expectations. As a key driver of change, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our organization and play a pivotal role in optimizing workflows and maximizing the potential of our TELUS service management platforms and tools . By leveraging your expertise in project processes and operational applications, you’ll help stakeholders navigate the change journey and adapt their processes to align with future states.

 

You will:

  • Develop Level 3 process maps for the future mode of operation and help stakeholders adapt their current processes.
  • Build trust with stakeholders by demonstrating your strong knowledge of project processes, operational applications, and the TBS value chain.
  • Provide input on Project Visions, Charters, and Epics, ensuring quality requirements within project scope.
  • Lead and facilitate meetings and working sessions with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Help stakeholders navigate and clearly communicate change impacts, demonstrating the future state during process workshops.
  • Plan and facilitate testing, communicate results, track defects, and ensure defect resolutions are acceptable to stakeholders and the project team.
  • Obtain sign-offs from stakeholders for activities such as process mapping and UAT.
  • Provide post-launch stability support to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Provide regular status updates to leaders and project managers, highlighting risks and mitigation plans.

We are looking for someone with:

 

  • Strong organizational skills and leadership qualities.
  • Highly driven, proactive, and a creative thinker to initiate and lead projects and initiatives.
  • A self-starter with strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of Waterfall, Agile (SAFe), Project Development Lifecycle, and DevOps.
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA or ServiceNow, Kanban, and Scrum.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Applications.
  • Understanding of the TELUS organization and how changes may impact your project.
  • Strong systems knowledge to support the TBS value chain
  • Intermediate knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.

 

Great-to-Haves

  • Post-secondary diploma or certification.
  • Business Analysis certification/courses.
  • ServiceNow certifications such as Business Process Analyst.
  • 5-7 years of experience in an analytical role.
  • Certification in ITIL, Lean Six Sigma.
  • Broad knowledge of business telecommunications and organizational management.

Salary Range:  $70,000-$130,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  12%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
