Transform Supply Chain Operations Through Data, Automation & Strategic Innovation

We are seeking a results-driven Senior Business Analyst to join the Purchasing and Inventory Management team and transform our purchasing and inventory processes.

 

This team is critical to TELUS Business Systems(TBS), managing demand and supply planning while driving strategic transformation initiatives. We connect Canadians through our world-leading network, driven by innovation and best-in-class team culture. 

 

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will develop and standardize demand/supply planning processes and automate solutions for an optimized supply chain. Collaborating across business, operations, and technology teams, you'll deliver the capability roadmap for TBS through process standardization, automation, and operational efficiencies that ensure rapid deployment and inventory optimization.

 

 

What you’ll do

 

 

  • Lead process mapping, documentation, and optimization across TBS, standardizing processes and monitoring KPIs.

  • Analyze data to drive insights, recommend improvements, and inform executive decisions while tracking solution impact.

  • Develop and govern demand planning processes, including forecasting methodologies, to improve accuracy and optimize inventory levels.

  • Identify automation opportunities across the purchasing and inventory management lifecycle to improve scalability, support system implementations, and collaborate with stakeholders.

  • Present executive-level fulfillment strategies and recommendations to leadership.

 

Qualifications

What you bring 

  • 4 years in Supply operations management.

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.

  • Strong analytical skills with business acumen to translate data insights into strategic recommendations that drive business outcomes.

  • Experience with demand, supply, and inventory management across end-to-end workflows.

  • Knowledge or experience driving operational efficiency through automation.

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • Telecommunications experience

  • AI planning tools and automation experience

  • BI reporting proficiency

  • SAP S/4 HANA knowledge

  • Supply Chain certification (CSCP, SCMP, or equivalent)

 

 

 

Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.

 

Salary Range:  $72,000-$108,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  12%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
