About the team


The Network Optimization Team leads large-scale migrations that enable TELUS to modernize, simplify, and optimize its business network infrastructure. Working across product, marketing, business intelligence, network, and operations, the team manages customer transitions from legacy technologies to next-generation platforms — ensuring migrations are executed smoothly, with minimal customer impact, and delivering the foundation for long-term efficiency, resilience, and innovation.
We sit within the TELUS Business Solutions Product team and support small, medium-sized, and commercial businesses with improved experiences across wireless and wireline product suites.

Managing customer migrations from legacy systems to next-generation networks is complex and risky, demanding tight coordination across product, network, and operations teams. While these transitions can be challenging, they also present a tremendous opportunity to strengthen collaboration, enhance customer experiences, and accelerate modernization. The Strategic Migrations Program team exists to simplify these efforts, streamline execution, and turn transformation into real business impact and exceptional customer outcomes.
Joining the Strategic Migrations Program team means being at the heart of transformation, driving meaningful change that improves customer experiences, reduces costs, and unlocks new revenue opportunities across our product and network ecosystem. As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll play a key role in integrating customer data and reporting to ensure we target the right customers and deliver seamless migrations with lasting business value. You will work across TELUS Network, Business Intelligence, Product, Base Management, and Data Base Management teams, gaining meaningful leadership exposure and experience for future growth opportunities.

 

Here’s how:

 

  • Capture, manage and maintain all 3G program data & reporting requirements
  • Programmatically manage the 3G data roadmap by aligning to network data enhancements, partnering with BI across Wireless, Security, and 3G on both network-driven and broader 3G requirements, and working with stakeholders to implement solutions, ensure data accuracy, and drive delivery to improve program measurability
  • Troubleshoots and resolves end-user issues, and manages data and tool escalations with BI, network, and program teams to ensure smooth delivery while min downstream impact
  • With experience navigating Google Cloud Platform, integrates multiple datasets to develop and continually enhance reporting and analytical frameworks in Google Looker, enabling teams to monitor migration outcomes, identify trends, and guide strategic decisions
  • Designs, communicates, and implements documentation, processes, and best practices for stakeholders, continuously improving them to maximize efficiency, quality, and scalability
  • Mentor team members to strengthen data expertise and adopt best practices

Qualifications


What you bring

 

  • Data & Technical Wizard: Able to integrate and report on data from multiple source systems, collaborating with BI & Network Systems teams to unify product and network data. Clearly communicates and storytells data complexities & impacts to stakeholders and proficient with Google Cloud Platform and Looker/Tableau to build reporting
  • Programmatic & Process-Oriented: Skilled in planning & organizing data roadmaps, implementing solutions with accuracy, and improving processes for efficiency & scalability
  • Outcomes Focused: Consistently manages and adapts to shifting priorities in a fast-pace environment, aligning new requests with core focus based on program, base management, and leadership needs
  • Problem Solver: Curious & willing learner who is a strong problem solver with teams to resolve complex challenges, end-user issues, and escalations with creative, practical solutions that keep projects moving and minimize downstream impact
  • Strong Collaborator: Works effectively with cross-functional teams, leveraging data and reporting to deliver business insights and a holistic view of program financial impact

  • University Degree or related College Diploma in Computer Science or Business/Commerce

Salary Range:  $70,000-$120,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  12%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
