The SMB Fully Managed Channel Development team is responsible for building and executing on the Fully Managed Business growth strategy with focus on growing and expanding channel coverage through market and partnership development.

As members of the SMB Fully Managed Channel Development team you will have the privilege to work along with our colleagues in various Sales organizations. Whether via our direct or partner channels you will be a part of a leading Technology and Managed Services Provider that specializes in digital business transformation and enables organizations to navigate and excel in the digital-first work world.

 

The successful candidate for this role will have a diverse range of responsibilities, including channel management strategy development, identification and assessment of potential partners, and their onboarding process. The candidate will also be responsible for coaching, collaborating, training, and developing both new and existing partners to ensure they meet and exceed key performance metrics. Additionally, they will work closely with channels and partners to continuously enhance customer engagement and effectively represent TELUS and the Fully Managed product offerings.

 

A key aspect of this role is the ability to engage in strategic and structured communication to drive awareness and deliver results. The candidate will be expected to collaborate with key stakeholders at various levels, including Partners, Managers, Business Owners, and Directors, aligning their efforts with the channel growth strategy.

 

By effectively managing these responsibilities, the candidate will play a crucial role in driving the success and growth of the channel.
 


 

Qualifications

 

Here’s what will be required

 

  • Perform weekly account/business reviews with channel partners as well as with internal stakeholders.
  • Train, support, mentor and motivate channel partners
  • Identify, Assess, develop and expand relationship with new and existing partners
  • Recruit new partners by promoting the benefits is TELUS and Fully Managed service offerings
  • Generate additional demand through channel events
  • Keep up to date on global and market trends and technology
  • Manage potential channel conflicts
  • Utilize SFDC as well as other tools and techniques to build weekly and monthly forecast 
  • Collaborate with Director, internal team and other key stakeholders to develop and maintain comprehensive channel growth plans
  • Collaborate with channel to exceed sales objectives
  • Define and document channel and partner targeting strategy and tactical approach
  • Prepare regular reports and communications that includes plans and insight  confidently to stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on Channel and Partner performance, efficiency and effectiveness

  • Have exemplary business acumen and ability to learn quickly 
  • Have the ability and experience in a similar role for 3 years or more with direct partner or customer engagement
  • Strong Presentation skills
  • Creative and innovative skills with the ability to build engaging visual presentations using Google Slides, and draft expertly written communications using the full Google Suite
  • High Emotional intelligence and extraordinary ability to build relationships 
  • Known for your exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Recognized as a strong collaborative team player with high levels of persuasive abilities, empathy and great negotiation skills
  • Superior organization skills with the ability to prioritize and expertly time manage
  • Proven ability to foster and grow strong effective business relationships among partners to meet and exceed business targets and objectives.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Confident with working closely with Senior Leadership and providing executive level communications

Salary Range:  $66,000-$98,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  $50000

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
