As Senior Communications and Marketing Manager, Employer Brand & Recruitment Marketing, you’ll sit within our Brand Marketing team, supporting our Talent Acquisition team by building out external facing employer brand and recruitment marketing campaigns to amplify the TELUS story in a way that attracts top talent to our organization. You’ll also support internal engagement by helping TELUS team members feel a deep sense of connection to our mission, brand promise, and each other.
Specifically, you will:
- Develop, implement and evolve best-in-class marketing and communications strategies, tactics, key messages and metrics that support our employee value proposition, drive consideration and favourability with the talent market, and enable team member advocacy
- Create and execute talent go-to-market strategies to drive conversion with key recruitment segments across the business like TELUS Health, retail and technology
- Build and manage a cross-functional team of professionals, focused on employer brand campaign management and recruitment marketing campaigns
- Work closely with internal partners in talent acquisition, people & culture, communications, and creative and find common ground with key stakeholders
- Liaise with internal partners and external agencies to develop authentic, inspiring, innovative and effective communications, and apply a consistent and compelling brand and marketing approach
- Act as a trusted advisor who can proactively guide senior-level executives
Qualifications
You are:
- An exceptional marketer who is excited to apply your skills to new audiences and programs
- Highly creative and understanding of the importance of clear communication across multiple channels and mediums from video to social
- Organized, strategic and able to lead multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
- Agile and driven to scrutinize existing methods of working using insights and data
- Influential, with exceptional collaboration, relationship and consultative skills
You have:
- 5-8 years of brand marketing experience
- Employer brand and recruitment marketing experience essential
- Undergraduate degree or postgraduate certificate in communications, marketing, or extensive related business experience in a senior communications or marketing communications role
