Working within our Business-to-Business (B2B) team, the content strategist plays a key role in creating seamless digital experiences for our customers through engaging content. You will help set the direction and quality of TELUS digital content, while updating and maintaining our content standards and processes. 

Content strategists at TELUS digital are experienced content professionals - responsible for using data and best practices to develop strategies that connect project and business goals to customer needs. The ability to communicate content value, strategy, and requirements to stakeholders and team members is a core component of this role. 

Our content strategists are expected to contribute to the overall practice culture by helping to coach fellow content practitioners. Educating our partners and teams by sharing best practices and learnings ensures we are able to create great content. 

As part of B2B My TELUS and Support, you’ll help the team deliver a customer-first experience which includes continually optimizing our authenticated customer and support strategies. Along with representing our content interests with other teams within TELUS, you’ll know what it takes to deliver a great omnichannel experience for business owners and decision makers. 

To help you execute your role, you’ll lean on our teams in design, development, testing, analytics, and marketing.
 

Here's how

  • Leveraging your skills in research, competitive and content auditing, and interpretation of digital analytics in order to inform content strategy recommendations 
  • Providing content recommendations and best practices by developing strategic planning documentation, including content hierarchies and templates 
  • Creating, editing and providing guidance and feedback on copy and content 
  • Leading the Information Architecture and navigation strategies for My TELUS and Support experiences  
  • Advocating for content by presenting content strategies and best practices across digital and holding workshops with stakeholders and team members 
  • Working alongside our designers, developers, content practitioners, and product owners to build great experiences 
  • Closely supporting our content managers, writers, designers and freelancers to ensure the content strategy and approach is understood, measured, and optimized 
  • Contributing to our site governance and editorial standards across our products  
  • Identifying and analyzing trends in content, design, technology, and marketing that can be leveraged to support the strategic aims of TELUS Digit

You're the missing piece of the puzzle

 
  • Digital strategist with 5+ years experience developing content strategies across digital omnichannel experiences 
  • Demonstrable experience driving business KPIs with complex projects  
  • Deep understanding of content strategy best practices, including journey mapping, research methodologies, SEO, content templates, and content hierarchies 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, an experienced writer and editor who can develop presentations and deliver them to peers, other teams and senior leadership 
  • Someone who can gracefully give and receive feedback - a proven consensus builder 
  • Adept at working in a highly-collaborative, lean, agile environment  
  • Highly detail oriented and organized, with exceptional analytical skills 
  • Knowledge of information architecture, content taxonomies, and design systems 
  • Understand the importance of creating accessible content and how that applies to WCAG 2.0 AA principles
