In this role as a Senior Cybersecurity Sales Specialist, you are a subject matter expert with deep technical  sales expertise in the Enterprise and Public Sector markets in Toronto. Your goal is to exceed sales quotas by developing trusted customer relationships at the executive level and building credibility across all relevant areas of the customer's organization. Your strong understanding of the cybersecurity industry and our products, combined with the ability to identify how our solutions can achieve the customer's desired business outcomes, will be key to your success

 

Qualifications

 

What you’ll do
 

  • Prospect, develop, grow, and manage Cybersecurity Enterprise customer accounts in Toronto with a focus on the public sector, including leading business development efforts and maintaining strong executive relationships.
  • Serve as a cybersecurity SME, collaborating with our field account team to identify and develop new opportunities, deliver strategic presentations, and guide decision-makers within targeted client enterprises.
  • Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to close, including leading RFP responses, developing sales proposals, and overseeing contract negotiations.
  • Create and execute strategic account plans for enterprise-wide deployments
  • Provide leadership to a broad team of internal support resources (SEs, Solution Architects, Product Management), while maintaining a deep understanding of procurement vehicles to maximize market potential.

 
 

What you bring

 

  • University/Postgraduate degree preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience managing large complex accounts in Cybersecurity industry 
  • A strong understanding of cybersecurity defense in depth models and security frameworks used by Enterprise clients
  • Sales experience in public sector accounts
  • Demonstrated leadership across internal support teams and partner resources
  • Demonstrated track record of solution selling into large complex clients
  • Recognized industry certifications are preferred (i.e. CISSP, CISM)
  • Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)

Salary Range:  $107,000-$161,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  $70,000-120,000

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits such as:
